Maria Louka obtained harmony degree in 2002 from the Music School of Ilion with Helen Dimopoulou, and in 2005 obtained the violin diploma from the Philippos Nakas Conservatory (class of Nantezda SARANTIDOU). At the same time she studied Sociology at Panteion University of Athens, graduating in 2006. Member of the String Orchestra of the Philippos Nakas Conservatory since 2003 and since 2010 member of the Athenian Youth Symphony Orchestra. She was also a member of the Greek-Turkish Youth Orchestra (2003) and other ensembles, while from 1999 to 2003 she participated in the Student Symphony Orchestra of Athens Prefecture. Since 2009 she teaches at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory.
