Marina Kislitsina was born in Russia. At the age of 8 he began cello lessons in the class of renowned professor Andrei Plorinsky. In 1968 and in 1970 won a competition for young musicians. In 1977 he graduated with honors from the State Conservatory of Yekaterinburg with Professor Gerts Tsomik and was subsequently hired as Concertino at the Symphony Orchestra of Dnepropetrovsk, performing numerous concerts as soloist in Shostakovich works, Saint-Saëns, Tchaikovsky, Brahms etc.
She also participated in the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra. Member of the Athens State Orchestra, Feminarte orchestra, Allegro ensemble and Art Quartet, while continuing a solo career with variouschamber music ensembles. She is a founding member of the quartet Donnacello. She teaches at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory and University of Indianapolis.
Her students have won awards in national and international competitions.
