The concert on Monday, April 22 at the Philippos Nakas Concert Hall is a tribute by the Greek Composers Union to works written for cello and piano by Greek contemporary composers. Performed by cellist Asterios Pouftis and pianist Maria Moschidou.
Going through its 35th edition, the concert series "The Young for the Young" is a platform for expression and an important institution for the promotion of distinguished young performers of classical music. Christi Plesti, an excellent violinist of the new generation, presents a very interesting virtuosic program with works by Mozart, Bach, Franck and Ravel accompanied on the piano by Dimitra Manzouratou.
The music ensembles, under the supervision of Thanasis Polykandriotis and the renowned teachers who support him, are aimed at all students of the Department of Traditional and Folk Music of the Conservatory specializing in the instruments: three-string and four-string bouzouki, tzoura and baglama.
The study center of the Rev/Ohm ensemble is the performance of experimental, contemporary musical compositions as well as improvisation for a variety of instruments.
A unique opportunity for students of all levels to be taught by the award-winning guitarist and composer Orestis Kalampalikis at the seminar that will be held on Saturday, April 6 from 2 until 7 pm in the Philippos Nakas Concert Hall.
