Nefeli Liouta was born in 1989 in Athens. She graduated in 2007 from the Athens College with honors, a music prize, a prize for Greek language and a Howland prize. She is a graduate of Athens Law School.
She holds a diploma in violin (2011, class G. Tzoumanis, excellent and prize, Philippos Nakas Conservatory). During her studies at the Athens Conservatory, she was awarded for the performance of her first diploma (Ptychion) in violin (2009) as well as in the context of attending chamber music (class of Maria Efstratiadis) and orchestra (2007-2008, 2008-2009, teaching of Loukas Karytinos ).
She works as a violin and music group teacher for children, and is also active as a composer, lyricist, performer and creator of musical fairy tales.

As a songwriter, she has released four albums under the stage name “Nefeli Walking Undercover”. The music is based on the sounds of the violin, piano, kalimba and other acoustic instruments in combination with the human voice, the percussive timbres of household objects and the continental polyphony. Her stories describe the city, the fields, the people and the light.
She has collaborated with a variety of places, people and ventures in Athens and the countryside (Onassis Foundation, Athens Concert Hall, Philippos Nakas Conservatory, Gerovasiliou Estate, Six D.O.G.S., Stavros Tou Notou, The Hellenic Plan, Camerata, Athens State Orchestra, etc. ) either as a composer / songwriter / arranger ("Hellenic Plan" - Dimitris Papadimitriou, Nalyssa Green - Stavros Niarchos Foundation, M. Kakogiannis Foundation as a proposal by Phoebus Delivorias, Athens Concert Hall - commissioning by Miltos Logiadis, Pelion Music Village, Technopolis Jazz Festival etc.) or as a session musician in recordings and on stage (Leon of Athens, Pavlos Pavlidis, Nalyssa Green, Katerina Kyrmizi, BITA PEIS etc.)

In the summer of 2010 she wrote 10 of her tracks at Fab Liquid Recording Studios which are released online at http://nefeliwalkingundercover.bandcamp.com/ under the title "Pencils - commandos" while in December 2011 she participated in the Greek Song Creation Competition of the Onassis Foundation, from whom he received the First Composition Prize and the Poetry Prize.

Along with composition and songwriting, she collaborated with the "Barren Line Fertile" program under the assistance of the Philippos Nakas Conservatory teaching violin in remote islands of Greece, voluntarily apprenticed as a columnist in the Cultural Department of the newspaper "Eleftherotypia", undertakes presentations of musical ensembles and performances in educational institutions and concert venues and films some of themher video clips.

With Eleni Sygouna (guitar), Rania Angeletou (guitar), Triantafyllos Maroungas (clarinet) and herself on the violin, they keep the chamber music ensemble "The Midnight Teachers Club" performing classical and contemporary works.

Currently, she is preparing her fifth studio album and completed her first original film score.
