Byzantine Music

The music of the Orthodox Greek Church, which was formed mainly in Byzantium and was a special melodic system of technique, is taught in the most systematic way by internationally renowned Byzantine professors and directors of Byzantine choirs. The Byzantine Music class at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory bears the stamp of the late Lykourgos Angelopoulos. Over forty worthy students obtained the Byzantine Music Diploma at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory under his guidance.
