Transcription - orchestration of songs by Mikis Theodorakis for the Chronos Ensemble, classical guitar, two female voices and children's choir by Triantafyllos Batargias.
The Athens State Orchestra presents the children's songs of Mikis Theodorakis, the first songs that the composer wrote from 1937 to 1945. As he says, most of them were written "in the midst of the freeze of History - in the harsh times of the '40s - in my first adolescence". Triantafyllos Batargias chose a number of these songs, which he transcribed and orchestrated for the Chronos Ensemble, classical guitar, two female voices and a children's choir.
