A course in jazz piano is now considered indispensable for today’s pianist, whether or not he/she aspires to be a professional performer. Indeed, knowledge of the different styles (Latin, soul, etc.) is regarded as a basic essential for all musicians in general. A course that fulfils international specifications has therefore been devised providing tuition in technique and the study of the different jazz piano styles, along with theory, harmony and improvisation.
The course is split into eight levels. Classes are conducted individually, each student being allocated 40 minutes per week.
