A charming and original combination of instruments comes to life in the Philippos Nakas Concert Hall.
The mandolin, guitar and harpsichord with a repertoire from the 17th century to the present will take us on a journey with their delicate and transparent sound.
From Naples to Greece, from Vivaldi to contemporary creation, works for solo guitar, solo harpsichord and duets.
Michalis Sourvinos and Julie Ventura are working together for the first time, driven by absolute commitment to authentic interpretation and passion for the art of Music.
The two distinguished soloists will perform an original program of high demands that includes works by Beethoven for mandolin and harpsichord, the brilliant Fandango by Luigi Boccherini, concertos by Antonio Vivaldi, works by Duplhy, M. Sourvinos. Also a premiere of Pavlos Ventouras' work "The Kites - A short flight" (2021) inspired by the painting of the same name by the painter Giorgos Kordis, a work dedicated to the two artists, and the work "Farewell" by Spyros Kardamis.
