Thalia Kavalierou was born in Athens and began her musical studies at the age of 7. In 1998 she received her piano degree "Ptychion" with "Honors" from the Conservatory of the Piraeus Association, with George Manesis, and in 2001 she also received her piano Diploma with "Honors" from the Contemporary Conservatory of Athens, with George Manesis. In 2003, she received the degree in Harmony from the Contemporary Conservatory of Athens, with Yiannis Grigorakis.
She has attended piano seminars with Aris Garoufalis, Ivelina Ivantseva and the Ganev couple.
She has completed a course of studies in J. Dalkroze Music-Rhythmic and Movement Education, C. Orff Music and Movement Education, and Music Therapy.
She has taken part in concerts in Athens and in various cities of Greece and has also participated as a classical song accompanist in events of the municipality of Piraeus, Hydra, Samos, Symi et al.
From 2001 until today, she teaches piano as well as music and movement in kindergartens. She is a piano tutor at Philippos Nakas Conservatory.
