Dionysis Mallouhos started piano lessons at the National Conservatory with Thalia Baha. He continued his studies at the Athens Conservatory, from where he received a Diploma in 1987 in the class of Giorgos Arvanitakis. With the support of the "Alexandros S. Onassis" and "P. Bakala Brothers" foundations, he studies with Márta Gulyás and István Gulyás, at the "Ferenc Liszt" Academy of Music in Budapest (1988-91).

He has appeared in the most important Athenian concert halls, in numerous Festivals (Pendeli, Corfu, Heraklion Crete, Volos, Kozani, Samos, Syros, Tinos, Naxos, Aegina, MusiKythnos Kythnos, Patmos, Koroni, Mani, Kyparissia, MuSifanto Sifnos, etc. ), in Thessaloniki, Patras and many other Greek cities, as well as in Monte Carlo, Germany (Berlin), the USA (New York, Atlanta, Nashville, Princeton, Rutgers, Indianapolis universities), Abuja, Nigeria, at the Bevagna Festival and the "Villa Reale" of Monza in Italy, France (Théâtre Côté Cour and Church of Saint-Jean-Baptiste in Mézin), in Budapest, Estergom and other Hungarian cities, etc., in chamber music recitals or concerts.
He has collaborated as a soloist with the Athens State Orchestra, the Camerata-Orchestra of Friends of Music, the Symphony Orchestra of the Municipality of Athens, the Symphony Orchestra of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, the National Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Sinfonietta Orchestra of Athens, the Chamber Orchestra of the Municipality of Athens, the String Orchestra of the Académie de Jeunes Solistes of Mézin (France) and the "Franz Liszt" String Orchestra of Hungary (Herodes Atticus Theatre, Athens Festival ΄93). Founding member of the instrumental ensemble Eptaihon (2013).

His record production includes a variety of works for solo piano and chamber music, by Greek and foreign composers, for the companies EMI, SONY, Subways Music, IRIDA Classical and UTOPIA-Mikri Arktos.

He was for many years a collaborator of Frangiski Karori - Psacharopoulos at ERT National Television, as a scriptwriter, producer and presenter of television music shows with an emphasis on the educational and informative character, in relation to children and young people ["The World of Music", International Musicians Contests, "Game of Black and White" (1984-92), "News and Notes" (1994-95)].
From April 2003 to the end of September 2021 he presented the radio show "All Tuesday Mornings", in the morning live zone of the Third Program of ERT and from the end of 2020 to the end of September 2021 the show "First Floor" with recordings of Radio Music Ensembles.

With forty years of experience teaching piano, he is currently a professor at the Atticon Conservatory and the Philippos Nakas Conservatory and coordinator of the post-educational seminar series "Piano Without Borders". At the same time, he gives masterclasses in Athens, Thessaloniki, Kozani, Sifnos, Naoussa, Heraklion of Crete, Drama and many other cities of Greece, in collaboration with local organizations and conservatories.

He regularly participates as guest soloist-piano teacher at the Académie de Jeunes Solistes directed by the great French violinist Christophe Boulier in Mézin (Aquitaine, France).
