CV

Born in Serres. From a very early age she showed her inclination to music, starting piano lessons at six with Professor Dina Gabriel and then at the National Conservatory of Athens in the classroom Mary Charatza. During her studies she showed excellent performance in piano and chamber music, with enthousiastic reviews from conductor Byron Kolasis, as well as from the Krinio Kalomiri, director of the National Conservatory of Athens. She represented the Conservatory in various musical events, festivals and competitions with great success. From 1986 she continued her studies in the class of the outstanding Russian soloist and piano professor Igor Tarachtancki (Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory). She obtained Piano Diploma with honors and Soloist Piano Diploma with honors (first prize and exceptional performance award), belonging to the most distinguished students of the National Conservatory of Athens . In the meantime she her studies at the University of Athens, taking a degree in Natural Sciences. She takes part in Master Classes, seminars for piano and chamber music with Duo Ganev, Martha Gulyas, M. Papadopoulos, and G. Hatzinikos. She was accepted on scholarship at the College of Franz Liszt Music Academy in Budapest. She has given piano recitals and chamber music concertes in several concert halls. She has collaborated as a soloist with the Athens Youth Symphony Orchestra and the National Radio Symphony Orchestra.
Since 1994 she has been teaching at recognized music institutes, participating in events and attending seminars and lectures by the internationally renowned pianist Alexandra Papastefanou. Her professional work count 25 years of continuous teaching. From the academic year 2013-14 she is faculty at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory.
