Born in Athens, Eleni Sygouna graduated with a diploma in guitar with "Excellence unanimously" from the class of Manolis Vrontinos in 2001 at the National Painter's Conservatory and continued her studies in the class of Lisa Zoi at the Athenaeum conservatory receiving a diploma in 2006 with Honors.

As a member of the Athenaeum Guitar Trion (together with Sofia Strigari and Rania Angeletou), she has taken part in guitar festivals and performed recitals in halls and conservatories in Athens and Patras.

She has attended seminars and master-classes of famous guitarists as well as music education seminars. She teaches guitar at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory.
