Vasilis Triantafyllopoulos was born in Athens in 1981. He began his involvement with music at the age of fifteen, learning the bouzouki. He studied at the school of Themistocles Papavasiliou. He then studied at Technological Education Institute of Crete in the Department of Music Technology and Acoustics. He continued his studies in music learning electric guitar with Sotiris Pomonis obtaining the DipLcm Teaching from the London College of Music as well as harmony, counterpoint with Nikos Panagiotakis and Pop Music Theory with Giorgos Argyropoulos at the Conservatory of Mousiki Praxis. He is a student and collaborator of Thanasis Polykandriotis and a member of the "Epomenoi" group. He has been teaching bouzouki since 2009 at conservatories in Athens.

As a performer he has collaborated and accompanied well-known artists of the Greek music scene in concerts and night clubs or on TV shows. He has taken part as a key member of the orchestra or as a collaborator in various music television shows.
