Born in Budapest. He studied guitar and music at the Bela Bartok Conservatory. At a young age he participated in the jazz scene of Hungary having played with great musicians (Tony Lakatos, Fusti Balogh etc.), in clubs and festivals, both within and outside Hungary's borders.
In 1981 he came to Greece where he worked as a professional musician with the most important names of the Greek music scene, participating in numerous recordings and concerts. At the same time, he became a permanent member of George Trandalidis' band and appeared with him in many clubs and festivals, playing with famous Greek and foreign musicians.
In 1992 he creates the well-known Jazz band PAGE ONE which writes its own story in the Greek Jazz scene with appearances at DIVA club for two consecutive years and two recordings (Page One, Beyond the Blue).
For four years he was a member of the group.

Off Jazz he has played in many Greek recordings (Th. Mikroutsikos, Stratos Dionysiou, Bros Katsimiha,s M. Kana, Marinella, T. Voskopoulos, V. Lekkas, D. Tsaknis, etc.).
In recent years he has been working with Maria Farantouri, Manolis Mitsias, Alkistis Protopsalti.
He is faculty of the Philippos Nakas Conservatory since 1990.
