Christophoros Karalis was born in Agrinion in 1970. He took his first musical steps learning tuba at the Agrinio Philharmonic, then continued at the Athens Conservatory where he was selected for the European Union Youth Orchestra.

At the same time, he studied classical guitar at the National Conservatory and took vocal lessons.

He pursued his studies in jazz guitar at the modern music department of the Philippos Nakas Conservatory, having obtained his diploma in 2000. He has attended many seminars for electric guitar and jazz harmony.

Christoforos has been active in concerts and recordings with some of the top names in the modern Greek music scene. During the last decade he has been teaching at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory electric guitar, jazz theory and harmony.
