Elli-Marina Kasda started classical singing studies at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki. During the period 1996-97, she attended the Opera Studio organized as part of the "Thessaloniki, Cultural Capital of Europe" program. In the summer of 1998 she attended the Summer Course of the Cautauqua School of Music in New York. In 1999 she graduated from the Contemporary Conservatory of Thessaloniki with honors.
In 2000 she completed her postgraduate studies at Trinity College of Music, London, (Postgraduate Diploma in Opera Singing) where she studied with a scholarship from the college.
In the same year, after a competition, she received "Koukouflis" Music Scholarship, Municipality of Thessaloniki and Galilee Music Scholarship (Rotary Club).
Participated in seminars: with sopranos Kyra Vayne, Adèle Leigh and Gabriella Ravazzi in the interpretation of Italian opera, with mezzo-soprano Dolores Zigler, Violette and Josef Meyers and soprano Anna Crookes in the interpretation of Baroque opera, as well as with teachers Carmen Gonzalez, Marlena Malas and Spiros Malas on technique and repertoire. Since 2001 she has been studying with Varvara Gavakou in Athens.
She has performed key roles at the State Theater of Northern Greece in the operas Don Giovanni by W. A. Mozart, The Medium by G. C. Menotti, Gianni Schicchi by G. Puccini, Midnight Summer's Dream by B. Britten, Il Campanello di Notte by G. Donizetti, Il Combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda by G. Monteverdi, at the Curtain Theater in the opera Die Zauberflöte by W. A. Mozart, and at the Theater of the Music Academy of Sofia the opera The Telephone by G. C. Menotti. In 2001 she starred in the 1st world performance of S. Serghi's modern opera "The Noah's" in Amsterdam playing Mrs Noah. In 2005, she recorded for ECM the collection "ELECTRA" - music of Arild Andersen, with whom he performed a series of concerts at major European festivals (Moldejazz festival, Brianza festival, Cosmopolite, etc.).
She has performed recitals in Greece and abroad, while she has participated as a soloist in the most important Greek festivals (Festivals of Athens, Dimitrios, Delphi, Symi, Sani festival, etc.).
She is a graduate of the Mathematics department of Aristoteleion University Thessaloniki.
