The distinguished German composer Christian Jost sets two moving poems of the important Greek poet Kiki Dimoula ("Melancholy" and "Afternoon") to music. His compatriot, Aribert Reimann, arranges eight songs by Felix Mendelssohn and connects them with six of his own interludes, which act as topical musical comments on the ethereal world of the German Romantic, and the Athens State Orchestra's "Music Walks" present a poetic musical evening with contributors the soprano Neli Mavroeidi who joins with Giorgos Mandylas and Vassilis Soukas, violin, Antilochos Tranos, viola and Asterios Pouftis, cello, who make up the "Aenaon" String Quartet.
