Going through its 35th edition, the concert series "The Young for the Young" is a platform for expression and an important institution for the promotion of distinguished young performers of classical music. Stamatis Nikolaidis, duly representing the new generation of talented guitarists, presents an interesting guitar program on Saturday, April 27 at the Philippos Nakas Concert Hall.
Stamatis Nikolaidis began his musical studies in Athens with Dimitris Kourzakis, with whom he received his diploma at the Neoclassical Conservatory. In 2018, he received his degree in harmony at the Classical Conservatory, with teacher Nikos Drela. At the same time, he participated in international guitar festivals, where he had the opportunity to attend masterclasses from internationally renowned guitarists and composers such as Dušan Bogdanović, Zoran Dukić, René Izquierdo, Judicaël Perroy, Jérémy Jouve and the multi-awarded Duo Melis among others. After completing his studies at the Department of Music Studies of the EKPA in 2021, he was accepted to the Conservatory as well as to the University of Strasbourg, where he is completing the postgraduate program in music performance with a specialization in classical guitar, in the class of Alexis Mouzourakis and Susana Prieto (Duo Melissa).
