Irini Nikolakopoulou studied classical violin and theory at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory and the Athens Conservatory. At the same time she studied at the Experimental Music High School of Pallini, where she got to know other musical genres and instruments. She has attended seminars on music pedagogy, museum pedagogy, storytelling with applications in education and nature pedagogy. She was also closely involved with Greek traditional music, active in recent years, performing concerts with music groups in music stages and festivals throughout Greece. She is a graduate of the Architecture School of AUTH and has been trained in storytelling at the "Center for the Study and Dissemination of Myths and Fairy Tales" in Athens and at the Mezrab Storytelling school in Amsterdam. In 2020, she started training teachers in the Alexander technique at the ATCA center in Athens.
She founded the group Sporos Music Tales, which consists of storytellers, musicians and visual artists who co-create storytelling performances with original music for children and present them in theatres, art venues, schools, museums and libraries. She also conducts workshops and educational programs focusing on music and storytelling for children and adults. With her performances, she has participated in storytelling festivals in Greece and abroad. (13th, 15th, 16th, 19th and 20th Fairytale Festival in Kea, 4th Fairytale Festival in Cyprus, 8th Festival Internazionale di Storytelling in Italy, Oerol Festival 2019 in the Netherlands etc.)

In 2022 she began collaborating with the Philippos Nakas Conservatory for the teaching of the Orff system and also of the infant music education systems.
