Art History

The courses cover a wide spectrum from prehistory, up to impressionism, sourrealism, Bauhaus, Pop Art and the other forms of modern art. The objective of the course is to place the artistic works in their social frame. The students study the relations between art and society and the history through the artistic creation, while simultaneously extending their musical knowledge.

Duration of courses: 2 hours. Regular students are those studying in the 2nd Grade of 'History of Music' at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory. Total duration of the course: 1 year.
