Vassilis Kitsos, composer and artistic director of the Philippos Nakas Conservatory of Thessaloniki, was elected to the Board of Directors of the Greek Composers Union.
Vassilis Kitsos has been the artistic director of the Philippos Nakas Conservatory of Thessaloniki since 2005. Doctor of composition at the University of Edinburgh, he has written more than 60 works, several of which have been presented in many European countries, broadcasted by BBC and state radios of Greece, Spain and Romania.
