This was followed by the afternoon "Meet the Composer" workshop, an educational program in which students of various instruments, as well as the guitar ensemble and the Youth Choir of the Conservatory, study works of their level, written by living Greek composers. Each student meets with the composer of the work they have studied, in order to perform it and receive their advice.
From trial lessons for young children – special Yamaha programs for infants and toddlers – and trial lessons for all instruments and for all ages, to special interest seminars for adults... as well as many classical and jazz concerts... The Open Music Day of the Philippos Nakas Conservatory had it all!
Special thanks to our teachers and students who offered all their knowledge and effort to make this day a beautiful celebration of music.
