Results of the 7th Music Competition - Club Unesco

The Group for the UNESCO of Art Literature and Science of  Greece, serving the ideals of Culture and wishing to become a supporter of the new musical talents of our country, organized the 7th Panhellenic Music Competition, for 2022. The competition was held with the support of the Philippos Nakas Conservatory on 11, 12 and 13 November, 2022.

70 teenagers and adults (12 to 30 years old), pupils, students and graduates of Conservatories, Music Schools and Universities from all over Greece and abroad competed in the categories: Piano, Classical Song (Solo), Traditional Instruments, Strings, Guitar and Woodwinds. The Group for the UNESCO of Arts, Speech and Sciences of Greece, due to the exceptional level of the contestants in the "Teen Piano" category, decided to divide the category into two age sub-categories (12-15 years and 15-18 years), awarding the respective prizes - praise.
The competition committees were surrounded by leading soloists and leaders of the great Greek orchestras, distinguished lyric singers, experienced music educators, who stood with respect and love for the contestants, congratulating their effort and artistic level.

The President of the Competition was the Director of the Symphony Orchestra of the Municipality of Athens and composer Eleftherios Kalkanis.
