Violetta Lusta was born and raised in Florina. She studied piano, theory and classical singing, receiving a Degree in Harmony and a Diploma in Classical singing with distinction. She studied on scholarship from the Florina Conservatory at the Music Academy of Würzburg, Germany, under the internationally renowned professor Cheryl Studer. In 2012 she received the title "Diplom-Musikerin" in the direction of Musiktheater and in 2014 the title "Master of Performance".

She is a graduate of the Pedagogical Academy of Florina, having also attended the Master's program of the same department, in the direction of "Cultural studies and new Technologies".

She attended singing Masterclasses with Cheryl Studer, Marie-Paule Hallard, Frieder Bernius, Laurent Pillot, Manfred Roth, Sofia Kyanidou, Katerina Karatza.

She has participated in opera productions in the roles of Lady Billows (Albert Herring by B.Britten), Zweite Norn and Gutrune (Götterdämmerung by R.Wagner), Contessa (Le Nozze di Figaro by W.A.Mozart), Zweite Dame (Zauberflöte by W.A.Mozart) , Venere (Orfeo by Luigi Rossi), Dido (Dido & Aeneas by H. Purcell), Tchang –Haitang (Der Kreidekreis by Alexander von Zemlinsky), Dackel (Das schlaue Füchslein by L. Janacek), Desdemona / Aimilia (Otello by G .Verdi), Mutter (Hänsel und Gretel by E. Humperdinck), Poussette (Manon by J. Massenet), Mimi (La Bohème by G. Puccini), Clotilde (Norma by V. Bellini), Lola (Cavalleria rusticana by P. Mascagni), Kate Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly by G. Puccini), but also as a chorister in the opera Rake's Progress by I. Stravinsky as well as in the oratorios "Jahreszeiten" by J.Haydn and "Messe Solenelle" by Louis Verne.

She has collaborated with distinguished chief musicians such as Markus Bos, Youko Amanoma, Loukas Karytinos, Michalis Oikonomou, Ilias Voudouris, George Vranos, George Petrou, Lisa Xanthopoulou, Myron Michaelidis. She has performed with the Greek Theater of Athens, the Orchestras of the Municipalities of Athens and Thessaloniki, the ERT Symphony Orchestra, at the Maria Callas Gala (Thessaloniki Concert Hall, 2017 & 2020), at the 1st Eptapyrgio Festival and at the Athens Festival.

She has presented works by contemporary Greek composers and collaborated with ensembles such as the "Emilios Riadis" string quartet.

She teaches at the Conservatory of Florina Region of Western Macedonia and at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory of Thessaloniki.
