Olga Zerva is school music teacher (secondary education) and violin teacher. She studied at the Department of Music Studies of the School of Fine Arts of Aristoteleion University. She is a graduate of the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki (studied with K. Galilaiaw and K. Patsalidis) and the Detmold Musikhochschule (Helge Slaatto class). She is also holder of a master's degree in Music Pedagogy from the European University of Cyprus where she studied Strings Pedagogy and developed original teaching material for beginners, based on Paul Rolland's pedagogical approach. She has worked in the Symphony Orchestra of the Municipality of Thessaloniki and the State Orchestra of Thessaloniki and has taught violin in various conservatories and music schools. She currently teaches at the 1st Experimental High School of Thessaloniki, where she is responsible for the school's Choir and Music Club, and at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory of Thessaloniki. She is also head of the Teaching Group of Stringed Instruments of the Hellenic Union for Music Education (EEME).
