Christos Anastasiadis was born in Giannitsa Pella in 1977. He started his first trumpet lessons at the Philharmonic of the Municipality of Giannitsa at the age of 10. At the age of 11 he started trumpet lessons with Mr. Giorgos Chalkias at the Giannitsa Municipal Conservatory.

In 1993 he attended a seminar in Lieksa, Finland with two world-renowned trumpeters. Charles Gayer, Chicago Symphony Orchestra trumpeter, soloist and one of the world's best trumpet teachers specializing in the orchestral repertoire. His students are currently first instruments in the world's greatest orchestras. Also with Timofei Dokshitser, one of the greatest soloists of all time.

In 1996-1998 he studied at the Athens Conservatory under the teacher Mr. Nikos Xanthoulis (first trumpet in the Athens Lyric Orchestra). In 2000 he attended seminars in the city of Kalavryta, in the Master Classes with Vince DiMartino (soloist) and Richard G. Illman ( soloist, professor of trumpet at Michigan State Univercity (MSU) School of Music).

In 2001 he participated in the Brass Conference in Manhattan, New York. In 2004 he received his degree from the Municipal Conservatory of Giannitsa in the class of Professor George Chalkias.

He has attended seminars with musicians such as Professor Amy Gilreath, Bill Jones and Harold McKinney, Britton Theurer, Erden Bilgen, Gary Mortenson, Jonathan Martin, Joyce Davis, Rich Stoezel, Robert Murray and John Hagstrom ( Chicago Symphony Orchestra). He has taken private lessons with Matheas Cans (A' trumpet at the Berlin Opera).

In 1994 he performed concerts with the Youth Orchestra of Volos, conducted by Mr. Giorgos Hatzinikos. He also performed many concerts with the Giannitsa Brass Quintet.

Since 1999 he has been a member of the Municipal Orchestra of Thessaloniki as an extraordinary member. He has also participated in the Volos Symphony Orchestra as A' major.

From 2001 to 2008 he was an extraordinary member as Second Principal in the State Orchestra of Thessaloniki (K.O.Th.). During this time he has participated in the educational DVD that includes the Orchestra Guide for Young People by B. Britten and the Jungle Book by M. Roza, in 2005. The production was by "Peristylon", the cultural organization of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs employees. .P.O.T. Also on the CD "Nikos Skalkotas" of the Greek Orthodox Church, released in 2008.

He was a member of the Magic Road Big Band, the lead trumpet of Aroma Caribe and a founding member of the group "Seven of a Kind". He was also the trumpeter of the group "Sotiria Kollia & the Background Collective". He has participated in the Plus 'n' Minus Collective Orchestra, Vassilis Sotiriou & the Blue Rose Band and has created and led two groups, the Target Jazz Band and the ZZ Jazz Quartet. Since 2016 he has been performing with his own group Christos Anastasiadis & his group in Greece and abroad.

He is a member of the Giannitsa Brass Ensemble, with which he performs concerts all over Greece.

In the periods 2008-2010 he was Principal Conductor of the Municipal Symphony Orchestra of Thessaloniki.

In 2016 he released his first personal CD entitled "First Time", with his own original compositions. His personal page is www.christos-anastasiadis.com. He has recorded for albums of other artists, is a musician active in the classical and modern fields and a YAMAHA Artist.
