Efi Gana graduated from the Law School in 1989. She obtained her piano degree in 1987 and a piano diploma in 1998 under professor Yannis Papadopoulos. In 1994 she obtained harmony degree with Professor Evangelos Kokkoris and in 1996 grade 5 from YAMAHA MUSIC FOUNDATION.
From 1991 to 1994 she was trained for "Music - Movement and Rhythm ORFF-DALCROZE Education".
She attended piano seminars with Eleni Tragana and Nelly Ben-Or and a seminar cycle on pedagogy of piano with Liana Haratsi and Konstantinos Papadopoulos.
She has attended the annual seminar course subsidized by the European Union under the auspices of the City of Athens (choir lessons under the direction of Kostis Kostantaras, singing lessons with Iro Palli and art history with Evangelos Kokkoris). During the educational year 2020-21 she attended a 6-month-seminar "Music for people with disabilities".

From 1988 she started her educational activity in various conservatories. She has been working with the Philippos Nakas Conservatory since 1993.
