Triantafyllos Marougas was born in Athens in 1988. He took his first music steps at the philharmonic of the Municipality of Mandras, with teacher Asimina Tsamos.
He studied clarinet at the "Athens Conservatory" since 2000, with teachers Yiannis Sambrovalakis and Spyros Mourikis. He received his Diploma from the class of S. Mourikis with "Excellent honors & distinction" in 2015.
He has taken part in seminars as a scholarship holder of the Art Campus under the auspices of the "Friends of Music" Association. He has also taken part in the Pelion Music Village seminars.
Since 2010 he has been a member of the Air Force Band, with which he has taken part in international and domestic festivals, while since 2016 he has been teaching at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory.
