Sofia Zanni is a piano graduate of Alexandra Papastephanou's class at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory (Excellent and 2nd Prize). She started piano with F. Marianou taking exams in a committee of the Royal School of Music. She continued at the Athens Conservatory in the class of L. Vicentzatou and later in the class of Aris Garoufalis. She also studied with Ath. Georgakopoulos and the composer Spyros Mazis, with whom she obtained a degree in Harmony (Excellent).

She has participated in a series of seminar courses on music performance, among others specifically on the performance of works by J. S. Bach on the piano with Alexandra Papastefanou, as well as on the approach and performance of works by Schumann and Beethoven with Professor André Marchand. She has specialized in a series of educational methods and programs such as: Preparation for Teaching Yamaha's Junior Music Course System, Musical Kinetic Education at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory and Carl Orff Musical Kinetic Education at the "Matei School" with Anna and Alexandre Matei. She has actively participated in choral concerts under the direction of Antonis Kontogeorgiou, in works such as: M. A. Charpentier: Te Deum, Carl Orff: Carmina Burana etc. She has worked as a musician in large educational organizations such as the Ziridis Schools, where she collaborated also with conductor Miltos Logiadis in the organization and supervision of the musical part of school holidays.

Sofia Zanni is active as a pianist in chamber music ensembles and as an accompanist in song recitals. Since 2012 she has been teaching at the Conservatory of Contemporary Music Expression of the Hellenic-German School. She teaches piano at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory.
