Michalis Asikis was born in 1981 in Thessaloniki. He began his music studies at the piano in Thessaloniki and continued at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory in Athens with Alexandra Papastefanou, obtaining the Piano Diploma in 2011 with Excellence and Prize.
He has obtained harmony degree and has attended jazz piano lessons and modern harmony with Pantelis Benetatos.
Since 1998 he has been working as a pianist and session keyboardist with famous Greek artists and as an orchestrator in a production studio.
He played piano and keyboards at the "Rocky Horror" musical (Rex 2014), as well as at the musical "Yes sir" (AlikiTheater 2017). He has participated in many TV shows.
Since 2013 he teaches contemporary piano, keyboards, theory, modern harmony and music technology at Music Studies Palaio Faliro.
His collaboration with Philippos Nakas Conservatory as a professor of Harmony and Piano began in the academic year 2017-18.
