Maria Mavrodimou was born in Athens and started piano lessons at the Municipal Conservatory of Lamia with Professor P. Belnev. She continued her musical studies at the Municipal Conservatory of Thessaloniki. In 2001 she graduated with honors with Professor M. Liakopoulou and in 2005 got her diploma also with honors unanimously with Professor Myrto Karypidou. In 2000 she completed the music education Training Department at the Modern Conservatory of Thessaloniki. In 2000 she was awarded Excellence Prize in Piano of the Municipal Conservatory of Thessaloniki.

She has attended piano seminars with D. Sykias, B. Fredricksen, B. Ringeissen, M. Tirimo etc. In 2000-2001 was a piano accompanist in the Orchestra of the Municipal Conservatory of Thessaloniki. Since 1999 she has been teaching piano at HAN Asvestochori Thessaloniki and organizes concerts. In 2001 she released her book "Once upon a time... was music. " She has appeared in solo piano recitals and chamber music concerts. Since 2008 she teaches piano at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory.
