Irene Laliotou studied piano with Professor L. Vitsentzatou at the Athens Conservatory on scholarship and obtained her diploma with honors and first prize. She completed her studies at Music Academy in Vienna with P. Badura Skoda and W. Fleischmann. Then studied on scholarship by Gina Bachauer foundation with famed pedagogue and pianist L. Brumberg. Between 1991-1998 she taught at the State Conservatory of Vienna and at the Superior Music Academy of Graz and several students of hers received awards in international competitions in Austria, Italy and Monaco. She has given concerts in Greece, Austria, Italy, Cyprus, Hungary, Croatia, Monaco and Taiwan. She has performed as a soloist with the Thessaloniki State Orchestra, the Bach Ensemble of Vienna and the Chamber Orchestra of Lecce. Since 1998 she is a piano and chamber music professor at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory.
