Elina Boutieri was born in 1977 in Athens. She studied with Natalia Michailidou at N. Skalkotas Conservatory, and obtained the Piano Diploma with Distinction and First Prize. At the same time she attended music theory classes at the "Raimondis" Conservatory next to Evangelos Kokkoris and received the Harmony Degree with honors.
At a very young age she was awarded a scholarship by Trinity College of Music, also participated in recordings and broadcasts for the Greek Radio and Television.
In 1996 she was accepted at Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris, class of Jacques Lagarde - piano and Nina Patarcec - Chamber Music and received, respectively, the Diplôme D 'Enseignement and Diplôme Supérieur de Musique de Chambre. She studied at the "Gabriel Fauré" Municipal Conservatory with Professor Stephen Paulello where she completed her studies with First Prize unanimously with the congratulations of the jury (Premier Prix de la Ville de Paris) in Piano and Chamber Music. She has also studied with David Lively, Dimitrs Saroglou, Christian Crenne, Christine Marchais, Didier Matry and Devy Erlih and has attended seminars with Alicia de Larocha, Radu Lupu, Dora Bakopoulou.
During the five-year (1996-2001) stay in France, she taught in Conservatoires and State schoolsj.
She performed recitals and Chamber Music concerts in France and Greece and in festivals of Sevran, Reuil Malmaison and Symi.
She is often invited as jury member in piano examinations.
