Elena Kantari was born in Athens. She studied at the Department of Piraeus University of Economics, but the love for music led her very early to devote herself completely to music. In 1991 she obtains her Piano Diploma with "excellent", with Professor Chryssi Partheniadou and since 1993 she teaches piano at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory.
In 1995 she obtains her Piano Diploma - Grade "Excellent" and a year later she is appointed, upon examination of the Ministry of Education, Professor in Primary Education.
In 1998, she served in the Municipal School of Drosia in Larnaca and also taught piano at the "Greek Conservatory" Larnaca. After a rich artistic activity, she took over the management of the Mixed Choir of "Larnaca Progressive Movement" with concerts in Cyprus and abroad. In 2000 she returned to Greece and since then she has been working at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory in Kifissia and in Primary Education.
In 2008 the Municipality of Pallini, founded the first Children's Choir and Mrs. Kantaris undertakes the dircction, while in 2009 she undertakes the direction of the Glyka Nera Attikis Municipality Youth Choir.
In 2010 she founded the Youth Choir Total 'EMPNEFSIS "consisting of 70 children 9-17 years old, participating in TV programs etc.
Noteworthy concerts have received favorable reviews from the media and the artistic and scientific community of the country.
Elena Kantari is a founder member of Kapodistrias Project Study Society. The Company was founded in 2010 by Andreas Koukos - professor of Modern History at National Defence School.
In 2012 she participated as a Research Associate of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in co-funded project by the EU on "New Foreign Language Education Policies to School: Learning English in early childhood-design and production of educational materials for the teaching and learning of English in the A, B and C grade."
