Efi Diakoumi was born in Athens, Greece. She studied piano in the National Conservatory of Athens (under Mrs Chrisi Partheniadi-Florou) and graduated with honors and first-class prize.

She continued her studies in Prague Music Academy, taught by the distinguished Professor Jan Panenka. Later, she attended a scholarship master class in Salzburg Music Academy with Professor Jacob Lateiner.

She has performed numerous solo recitals and chamber music concerts in Athens, Prague, Heraclion, Alexandroupoli, Mesologgi, Komotini and has participated in the Symi festival.

She has also been working as an accompanist to many famous Greek choirs and has performed for the Greek Television.

Since 1995, Efi Diakoumi is a piano professor at Philippos Nakas Conservatory.
