Born in Tsimkent of Kazakhstan, Aliki Piastopoulou began piano lessons at Tsimkent and continued with Nikos Astrinidis at Makedoniko Conservatory and George Arvanitakis at the Athens Conservatory, from where she obtained in 1986 her diploma with honors and distinction.
She attended Master Classes of duo Ganev and Germaine Mounier.
At the same time she studied harpsichord with Margarita Dalmati and Theory (harmony-counterpoint) with Panagiotis Adam at Athenaeum Conservatory and fugue with George Sioras at Diethnes Conservatory.
She has performed chamber music concerts (piano and harpsichord).
Since 1988 she teaches at Diethnes Conservatory, since 1990 is a piano teacher at the Music School-Lyceum of Pallini and since 2001 at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory.
