Ismini Bek was born in Kalamata in 1997 where she began her studies in piano and Advanced Theory with Professor Stathis Gyftakis at the Municipal Conservatory of Kalamata. She holds an Integrated Master's degree from the Department of Music Studies of the Ionian University, specializing in Composition (class of Dimitra Trypani and Vassilis Kitsos).

She has been a member of many vocal ensembles and has performed concerts in renowned venues in Greece and abroad such as the Athens Concert Hall. She has also participated in many international festivals such as the Athens & Epidaurus Festival, INTERKULTUR Festival, TEDx Ionian University.

She has actively attended many composition and piano seminars (ilSUONO sax project, composition seminar with Dimitris Andikopoulos, seminars with pianist Domna Evnouchidou, Jazz Summer School at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, etc.).

In November 2019, her work was awarded with praise in the Composition Competition in Memory of Kostis Palamas from the Athens Conservatory, while her last work was presented by the National Opera in the context of educational and social activities.

Since 2020 she lives in Athens where she continues her piano studies in the class of Thodoris Tzovanakis.
