Lydia Aroni was born in Athens. She began her classical guitar studies at the age of 9 at the Philippos Nakas conservatory, from where she graduated (guitar degree with grade excellent).

She has attended seminars and masterclasses by renowned Greek and foreign guitarists (R. Dyens, S. Vlaskalic, A. Baranov, G. Petridis & A. Christodimou, E. Asimakopoulou & L. Zoi) and has actively participated in musical events and musical groups.

Along with her classical guitar studies, she has attended ethnic and traditional percussion courses and seminars.
