Spyros Arkoudis was born in Corfu in 1985. He began his musical studies at the "Kynopiastes" Philharmonic Society with teacher G. Arkoudis. He continued at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory in the class of S. Anthis where he received his trumpet diploma with honors in 2007. In 2003 he entered the Department of Music Studies of the Ionian University. In 2007 he was admitted to the Hanover Academy in the trumpet class of Jeroen Berwaerts graduating in 2011 with Honors.
He has collaborated with the State Orchestra of Athens, the State Orchestra of Thessaloniki, the National Opera, the Symphony Orchestra of the Municipality of Corfu, the Orchestra of Colors, the Orchestra of the Municipality of Athens and the Kamerata of the Friends of Music. Also with the Staatstheater Hannover, Nordwestdeutsche Philarmonie and the Bremen Orchester Philarmonie. Nowadays he is a member of the Melos Brass and the Heptaihon ensemble and First Principal Trumpetist of the National Symphony Orchestra of ERT. He teaches trumpet at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory.
