Konstantinos Kikilis was born in Athens. From a very young age he came into contact with Greek music, having as a teacher his father, Panagiotis Kikilis.
He studied music obtaining a diploma in Byzantine Music with honors (Hellenic Conservatory, class of Ath. Paivanas), a diploma in Violin with honors and 1st prize (Hellenic Conservatory, class of P. Tsoroukoglou) and degrees in Harmony, Counterpoint and Fugue (Conservatory of Classical and Contemporary Music), class of S. Mazis).
He holds a master's degree in Music Pedagogy from the University of Nicosia.
He is a founding member of the music group "para thin alos" (aegeanmusic.gr), which continues the tradition of Aegean music and with which he has released a digital album entitled "Musical journey to Kalymnos", the result of many years of on-site research.
He collaborates with leading artists of traditional music, dance and cultural organizations in general from almost every corner of Greece in performances, publications, etc. approaching local musical idioms.
He teaches violin and Byzantine Music. His collaboration with the Philippos Nakas Conservatory began in 2024.
