George Stogiorgis was born in Thessaloniki in 1977. He studied theater in the drama school of the National Theatre, where he graduated in 1999. He also studied Byzantine music, guitar, piano, kanun, jazz guitar and modern harmony and theory at National Conservatory, Philippos Nakas Conservatory and Atheneaum Conservatory. In 2011 he continued his studies at London's Kingston University, graduating with Master (M.A., Master in music) in film scoring. His teachers were personalities such as Ross Daly, Nikos Saragoudas, Nikos Dellaportas, Stella Makrigianni Panagiotis Adam etc. He also participated in Masterclasses for Eastern music and improvisation, with eminent soloists such as Halil Karaduman, Goksel Baktagir, Ahmet Metter, Iman Homsy etc. He has worked as a music teacher in music schools of Alimos and Piraeus, National Conservatory of Sparta and N. Smyrni, Municipal Conservatory N. Moudania. He has also participated as a musician in concerts, recordings, TV shows, TV series and has written music for the theater. He teaches canun at Philippos Nakas Conservatory.
