Nikos Georgopoulos was born in Germany, where he attended flute and classical guitar courses from the age of seven. At the age of nine, he began playing the bouzouki. In his youth he studied with the great teacher Themis Papavasiliou.

He has been very active professionally with live performances in many centers with established artists. He has played bouzouki for a large part of the Greek discography, while simultaneously writing songs and performing orchestrations. He holds a Steinberg certification (Cubase Pro 10) from the Philippos Nakas Conservatory.
