Giorgos Pahis studied under Theodoros and Thanasis Polykandriotis.
As a professor at the School of Folk Music of Thanasis Polykandriotis, he has been teaching since 1993 in conservatories, such as: N. Skalkotas Conservatory, Philippos Nakas Conservatory, Athena Conservatory, Athens Conservatory. During the period 2014-15 he taught at the Department of Folk and Traditional Music of TEI Epirus.

During the period 2003 - 2009 he participated in the ERT Various Music Orchestra, performing concerts with conductor Andreas Pylarinos.
In 2010 he appeared in Geneva with the "Suisse Romand" symphony orchestra performing "Axion Esti" by Mikis Theodorakis.
In 2012 he appeared at the Athens Concert Hall in the play "Road" by Mimi Plessas and Lefteris Papadopoulos under the direction of conductor Miltos Logiadis.
In 2016 he performed again in Geneva with the symphony orchestra "L' Orchester de Chambre de Genève" the "Axion Esti" by Mikis Theodorakis under the direction of conductor Philippe Girard.

Since 1985 he has been actively participating in the musical events of our country collaborating with artists such as: Glykeria, Yiannis Poulopoulos, Tolis Voskopoulos, Babis Stokas, Philippos Pliatsikas, Yiannis Zouganelis, Gerasimos Andreatos, Lena Alkaiou, Dimitris Bassis, Marinella, Petros Gaitanos, Yiannis Plutarchos
From 1995 he has collaborated with composers such as: Mimis Plessas, Yiannis Spanos, Giorgos Hatzinassios, Lavrentis Mahairitsas, Giorgos Theofanous, Thanos Georgoulas, Alexis Serkos, while he has collaborated on record labels with Stelios Kazantzidis, Dimitris Mitropanos, Yiannis Plutarchos, Konstantina, Kaiti Garbi, Babis Stokas, Lavrentis Mahairitsas, Mimis Plessas, Thanasis Polykandriotis et al.

From the academic year 2017-18, George Pahis belongs to the teaching staff of the Philippos Nakas Conservatory.
