Nikos Symboulidis was born in Athens in 1988. He started classical guitar lessons with Eleni Theofanous at the age of 9 and later attended modern guitar lessons with Giorgos Grigorakos.

He studied at the contemporary department of the Philippos Nakas Conservatory with professors Giotis Samaras (jazz guitar), Kostas Kostantinou (music ensembles, jazz harmony and jazz analysis), Takis Paterelis (orchestration), Takis Barberis (workshops, music ensembles) etc., obtaining the electric guitar diploma from the class of Yiotis Samaras. He also attended classical harmony and counterpoint lessons with Christos Psychogyos.

He has composed music for children's theater and adult theater, such as "Cinnamon sugar apples" directed by Eleanna Santoriniou, "50 meter freestyle" directed by Annita Kapousizis, "There are also good giants" directed by Manthos Santorineos.

Worked with the Arts Council Korea as an orchestrator for the performance "Elektra".

He performs live in jazz scenes in Athens and collaborates with important Greek artists as a session musician (live and studio recordings).

Since 2017 he has been employed as an accompanist for singing classes, an orchestrator and supervisor of ensembles of the Contemporary Music Department at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory, where he has been teaching electric guitar since 2021.
