Ιn 1986 he completes his theoretical and orchestration studies at Costas Clavas’ Conservatory.

He has been playing jazz for the last 30 years now having worked with many notable musicians not only from Greece (George Trantallidis, George Phillipidis, George Fakanas, Vassilis Rakopoulos) but international musicians as well (Ralph Peterson, Bobby Watson, Chuck Berry, Trilok Gurtu, David Lynch, Jimmy Cobb, Miles Griffin, and Tony Remy to name but a few) in festivals and music venues all over Greece.

He has recurrently been a member of the following well-known Greek Jazz Bands: George Trantallidis Quintet, Jazz Workshop, Mode Plagal, Takis Barberis Quintet, New Edition and many more.

Since 1994 he has been teaching jazz piano at Philippos Nakas Conservatory in Athens.

He has also taken part in various recordings such as: ‘Roxanne’, ‘Stand Art’, ‘Episodes’, ‘Through Memories’, ‘Nostos’ etc.

In 2003 together with Spyros Panagiotopoulos, he brought out the album ‘Stepping Out Vol.1’ by Heaven music titled ‘Giati na ksexasis’ (Why forget) which includes different arrangements of famous Greek songs from the 1930s to the 1960s.

In December 2005 he brought out the cd ‘Anaflexis’ with the ethnic world music group Pyros Aethir.

Furthermore, through the European Union’s program ‘Comenius’, he participated in several concerts and seminars in collaboration with Pop & Jazz Conservatory residing in Helsinki.

While completing his studies at Law School, he started playing the piano with several rock bands in the late ’70s. Later on, he began playing professionally with many well-known artists of the Greek music scene like Haris Aleksiou, George Hatzinasios, Dimitra Galani, Giannis Parios, Manolis Lydakis, Alkistis Protopsalti etc.
