Orestis Atsalakis has been teaching electric guitar, modern theory and harmony at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory since 2011, guiding also several student music ensembles.

He has been producing music since 2016. He collaborated with Kurt Rosenwinkel and Heartcore Records in 2022 on the transcriptions and Greek subtitling for the jazz legend's 63-hour webinars.

He has a large library of arrangements - transcriptions on the Patreon platform, as well as many years of experience in digital media (YouTube, Soundslice, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) with personal teaching material - transcriptions, brief lessons, backing tracks and play-alongs.

His participation in music groups is rich as he was a member of Nimbus 4 Quartet (Modern Jazz ensemble 2010-2013), Froots Salad (Afro-fusion jazz quartet- quintet 2013-2016) and Guitakora (Afro-fusion jazz trio/quartet 2015- 2017) and nowadays he appears on music stages with the jazz-fusion-soul quartet of Mariletta Kostantara, with Avocado Slym3, with the Live looping power trio and the Orestis Atsalakis Trio (the latter since 2010).

He started music at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory from the age of four (Junior Music Course) and continued studying classical piano, jazz guitar with Nikos Delaportas and Takis Barberis, modern theory and harmony with Petros Hatzigeorgiou, Grigoris Batsis and Kostas Konstantinou, orchestration with Takis Paterelis, Film Scoring with Yiannis Anninos, Music Ensembles with Kostas Konstantinou, Asterios Papastamatakis, Manolis Papasifakis, drums with Ilias Doumanis. He attended Masterclasses with faculty of Berklee College of Music. He also attended African percussion with Antonis Papadopoulos (Studio Seli Kanou), the Ableton music production program with Underbelly, music production Masterclasses with Russel Elevado, Chris Lorde Alge, Matt Weiss etc.. He has also attended masterclasses with jazz legends such as John Scofield, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Steve Vai etc.
