Dimitris Moros was born in Athens in 1971, his origin being from Andros island. He began his musical studies in the electric organ and the piano.

He continued his studies with advanced theory (harmony, counterpoint, fugue) with Georgios Kampanas and Composition with Nikos Drelas.

He has collaborated with several artists and musicians as a performer and arranger. He has also composed music for the theater.

Since 2006 he has been collaborating with the publishing house Philippos Nakas in arranging and editing books for classical guitar, piano, harmonium and bouzouki. In the context of this collaboration, in 2011 his book "Accompaniment for the keys" was published and in 2015 his book entitled "The piano in Greek folk music".  In 2022, his book "Comprehensive Music Theory" was published, which is a presentation of the theory in a simple and understandable way. In the first part the material of the theory is fully covered and in the second part there are exercises that help students to understand theory better. At the Philippos Nakas Conservatory, Dimitris Moros teaches advanced theory and prepares students for the entrance exams into music schools.
