7 composers, 7 musical paths in one route from the baroque to the modern era.
Two accomplished soloists, violinist Stella Tsani and harpsichordist Katerina Ktona present a unique musical journey, exploring the happy coexistence of violin and harpsichord through the ages.
Their program highlights these two instruments, which co-exist in astonishing harmony in the works of Baroque composers, while at the same time continuing to inspire and challenge the contemporary compositional world.
The two musicians will take us from the elegance of the Baroque to the 20th century with the Sonata of Darius Milhaud, in which the musical elements of the Baroque are strongly distinguished, with the final stop of their journey in the 21st century, with the Suite of Giorgos Galanis and the Tarantella by Sofia Mavrogenidou.
Program:
Johann Christian Bach (1735-1782): Sonata for harpsichord and violin no. 1 in D major, op. 16
