Going through its 35th cycle, the concert series "The Young for the Young" is a platform for expression and an important institution for the promotion of elite young performers of classical music. With an immersive and demanding program with works by J. S. Bach, F. Chopin, L. v. Beethoven, M. Balakirev, R. Schumann and F. Liszt, Konstantinos Lianos is promising a great pianistic evening.
Konstantinos Lianos was born in Athens in 2005. He started his first piano lessons at the age of just four, immediately standing out for his special musical perception as well as his original musical talent. In June 2023, he received his Piano diploma (excellent, first prize and gold medal) with the teacher and distinguished soloist Elena Christodoulou from the Athenaeum Conservatory.
In June 2022, he received the Degree in Harmony with Honors from the Tonikon Conservatory with professor Eleni Anagnostopoulou.
He gave a recital as part of the "Athens piano city festival" and performed at the Athens Concert Hall at the "Piano days" tribute.
He won first prize in the Panhellenic Piano Competition of Maria Hairogiorgou-Sigara, in the Panhellenic Music Competition of UNESCO and in the Panhellenic Piano Competition of H.O.N. and was awarded second prize in the Panhellenic Piano Competition "Filonas". He actively participated in the Mozarteum Hellas Seminars with professor Florian Podgoreanu (Philippos Nakas Conservatory, 2023).
He is a graduate of the Music School of Ilion and a student at the Music Department of the University of Macedonia.
