The program that will be presented by violinist Stella Tsani, saxophonist Athanasios Zervas and pianist Konstantinos Destounis at the concert on Monday 12 December, at 8.30 pm, at the Philippos Nakas Concert Hall, includes works by Greek composers written during the last twenty-five years. It can be characterized as multi-stylistic because the specific works, that although written within a relatively limited time frame, reflect different aesthetic trends that develop mainly between modernism, modality, neotonicity and borrowed musical elements from the Greek tradition. The works as a whole are virtuosic and showcase the sonic and tonal capabilities of the instruments for which they are written, while at the same time underlining the virtuosic flexibility of the soloists.
